Sunnah upheld by Islam's priest in Goidhoo

Islam's prayer leader and chief cleric on the island of Baa Atoll Goidhoo has just returned home a free man. Last month the police reluctantly arrested al-Sheikh Ali Rasheed after it was alleged that he had been molesting children as young as SIX in his Koran classes at the Islamic temple (mosque) and his home. The molesting had been going on since 1999 and some of it was incestuous.

The age SIX is significant in that it was the age that Mohamed (the founder of Islam) "married" his "wife" Aisha. He simulated sex between Aisha's legs in the Islamic act known as "thighing" until she was 9 and then had full-blown vaginal sex with her. Muslims have an obligation to do as Mohamed did.

The Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini specifically mentions this Sunnah in the book Sayings of the Ayatollah Khomeini: Political, Philosophical, Social, & Religious (Bantam Books:1985 ISBN-10: 0553140329) as follows:

"Thighing is a means for an adult male to enjoy a young girl who is still in the age of weaning; meaning to place his penis between her thighs, and to kiss her"

The Ayatollah also refers to further Sunnah authority for pedophila in his book Tahrirolvasyleh (Fourth Edition, Darol Elm, Qom) as follows:

"A man can marry a girl younger than nine years of age, even if the girl is still a baby being breastfed. A man, however is prohibited from having intercourse with a girl younger than nine, while other sexual acts such as foreplay, rubbing, and kissing are allowed. A man having intercourse with a girl younger than nine years of age has not committed a crime, but only an infraction, if the girl is not permanently damaged. If the girl, however, is permanently damaged, the man must provide for her all her life. But this girl will not count as one of the man's four permanent wives. He also is not permitted to marry the girl's sister."

There is, therefore, absolutely no room for convicting al-Sheikh Ali Rasheed of Goidhoo Island under Islamic Shariah law. What he did was well within the limits permitted in Shariah.

That was why he was released from detention and allowed to return to the community where he had molested many young girls in his Islamic temple (mosque).

According to a newspaper article, linked below, the Sheikh has NOT been keeping a low profile since his return. Of course not! Why should he? He has nothing to be ashamed of as he had only been discharging a holy Islamic Sunnah of the prophet Mohamed (peace and blessings of Allah are supposed to be upon him). So stuff the sentiments of those impertinent girls and their mothers who were brainwashed by Western propoganda to complain about the good Sheikh.

Your neighborhood religious policeman is coming soon

In Saudi Arabia it is the "ulema" and their religious police. We have our Emme Mathee Majlis. Efforts are undeway to create our own religious police. Candidates are plenty."

Members who work in the field wear badges but no special uniforms. As signs of piety, they sport scraggly beards and red-and-white checkered head scarves without black cords to hold them down. Their traditional white robes fall slightly above their ankles."

Here is an interesting article about the religious police. Can this be a reality in Maldives soon?

JIDDAH, Saudi Arabia - Three members of Saudi Arabia's religious police will stand trial this week for their involvement in the death of a man in their custody, an unprecedented action against the powerful enforcers of the country's strict moral code.
The death, the second in the custody of the religious police in the past month, has triggered calls for a reevaluation of the force's role and responsibilities, and generated a media uproar -- a first in a country where criticism of the religious establishment had until recently been off-limits.
"Things have gotten so out of hand that the commission has taken on the roles of policeman, judge and jury. Its employees exercise the right to suspect, accuse, detain and punish on the spot while they also enjoy immunity from any kind of accountability or questioning," Arab News columnist Abeer Mishkhas wrote this week.
.........
.........
.........

But the establishment retains tremendous clout. Newspaper editors and writers have been fired or banned from writing for criticizing the Wahhabi ideology, and many remain wary about voicing an opinion about the commission.
"People hesitate to criticize the commission because they're afraid they'll be viewed as criticizing religion," said Sabria Jawhar, the Jiddah bureau chief of the English-language Saudi Gazette. "Having a commission is part of our religion."
Saad al-Sowayan, a professor of folklore and anthropology at King Saud University in Riyadh, said Saudis have lived in fear of the commission for decades but have finally started to speak out against it.

"This is an occasion for the (world's) 1.5 billion Muslims to look at the seriousness of this decision.

A Pakistani minister says Muslims would be right to launch suicide attacks over the Queen's decision to award Salman Rushdie a knighthood.Religious Affairs Minister Mohammed Ijaz ul Haq told parliament: "This is an occasion for the (world's) 1.5 billion Muslims to look at the seriousness of this decision.
"The West is accusing Muslims of extremism and terrorism. "If someone exploded a bomb on his body he would be right to do so unless the British government apologises and withdraws the 'sir'.

Officials in Pakistan say the knighthood is an insult to the religious sentiments of Muslims and should be withdrawn.
In Multan, effigies of the writer and the monarch have been burned by about 100 students carrying banners and chanting "Kill Him! Kill Him!"
Sir Salman caused outrage in the Islamic world with his book The Satanic Verses, which was accused of blaspheming the prophet Mohammed.

He was forced into hiding when an order to kill him - a fatwa - was issued and has only just returned to public life.

Maybe next Ramazan the urine fatwa sheikh will give waul in Islaamee Marukazu. Maybe he already did

Egypt's Grand Mufti Dr. Ali Gum'a has apologized for a fatwa he issued stating that the companions of the Prophet Muhammad blessed themselves by drinking his urine. Gum'a is the author of a controversial book which claimed that Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) companions used to drink his urine.

He issued the now notorious urine fatwa in a book called Religion and Life. It was published six years ago and told the story of a woman who drank the Prophet's urine. The mufti had his book taken off the shelves, and said the controversial statement was not a fatwa but his opinion which was offered in response to a question.
"First came the breast-feeding fatwa. It declared that the Islamic restriction on unmarried men and women being together could be lifted at work if the woman breast-fed her male colleagues five times, to establish family ties. Then came the urine fatwa. It said that drinking the urine of the Prophet Muhammad was deemed a blessing.
For the past few weeks, the breast-feeding and urine fatwas have proved a source of national embarrassment in Egypt, not least because they were issued by representatives of the highest religious authorities in the land."

The Breastfeeding Fatwa Sheikh is Ezzat Atiya, President of the Hadith Department at Al-Azhar University

The Urine Fatwa Sheikh is Ali Gomaa, the Top Mufti of Egypt.

Have they "waul" in those roadhamahuge reytha ihya kurun at Islamee Marukazu?

Were they classmates of Maumoon, Fathulla and Zahir Hussein?

What connection is there between these "learned men" and the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs of Maldives?
Are the "breastfeeding sheikh" and "urine sheikh" coming to Maldives next Ramazan?

Shot by their own side, healed by the enemy

In the Gaza Strip's Jab aliya refugee camp, Aref Suleiman was raised on Palestinian struggle against the Jewish state. Today he lies in an Israeli hospital bed, his body riddled with Palestinian bullets, his wounds tended daily by Israeli nurses.
For the 22-year-old Mr Suleiman, who was shot five times point blank by Hamas militants last month during a renewed bout of Palestinian infighting, this is not the Arab-Israeli conflict he learnt about as a child growing up in Gaza's desperate, rubbish-strewn alleys.
"Palestinians shoot me and Jews treat me," he laughs bitterly. "It was supposed to be different."

Buddhist ice cream vendor beheaded

A Buddhist man who worked as an ice cream vendor was beheaded Thursday by suspected Muslim insurgents in Thailand's restive south, police said.
The man was on his way to sell ice cream at a school in the Muang district of Pattani province when suspected insurgents shot him three times and then cut off his head, said Maj. Gen. Korkiart Wongworachart, the police commissioner for Pattani province.
In neighboring Narathiwat province, the Buddhist owner of a motorcycle repair shop was fatally shot by two men while he was fixing a motorcycle, police said. A bomb planted inside a garbage bin in front of the shop later exploded but caused no injuries.

Islam cannot survive without censorship

Minivan News recently carried the following news item

Islamic Council Confiscates Buddhism Books

The Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs confiscated books on Buddhism from the Million Bookshop on Majeedhee Magu last Wednesday.

The books were part of a series called “A Great Moral Story.” The Islamic Council says members of the public drew their attention to the books, and also a series called “The Purpose Driven Life,” which is alleged to promote Christianity.

An Islamic Council spokesman called on members of the public to return books from the two series if they had brought them.

There you go again! Islam is incapable of surviving without censorship. One would imagine that this Allah of theirs is incapable of defending his interests. Is Allah(Mohamed's alter-ego) afraid that Muslims would leave Islam in droves if Islam had to compete with other religions on a level playing field? In the 21st century we don't hear of the Church of England or the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople or the Maha Sangha imposing censorship to protect their respective followers from apostatising.

When they kowtow to Mecca five times daily Muslims must re-evaluate whether or not they are worshipping an omnipotent god or just a lump of rock in the form of the Arab god Hajar al-Aswad. Instead of censoring on behalf of Allah, hanging an axe around the Hajar may be a more useful exercise to determine if in fact Allah is the true monotheistic God- the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Muslims must understand that censorship makes Allah look very very weak.

Muslim Maldivians conspired en masse, to conceal Mohamed-emulating paedophile

In 2005 a Maldivian returned from Pakistan after graduating from a madharusa or Islamic brainwashing centre. He was married to a 9-year-old girl. Maldivian laws had been aligned away from Islamic barbarism and do not permit marriage in which one or both spouses are below the age of majority. The Pakistani-brainwashed Muslim was promptly prosecuted and he pleaded his innocence. Quite rightly he claimed that he had a sharia -enshrined right to commit paedophilia, as Mohamed himself was a self-respecting paedophile. Mohamed (aged 51) married a 6-year-old girl and raped her regularly between her thighs until she turned 9, when he began raping her in the vagina.

To Muslims, Mohamed is the best specimen among Allah’s creations, the perfect human being and the pre-eminent exemplar to be followed. Muslims believe that if Mohamed did something, no matter how evil, blatant, or ridiculous, that must be the right thing. No question is asked and no value judgment allowed. Mohamed has to be followed blindly at any cost.

The Maldivian judge agreed with the defendant and discharged him without conviction, thereby overriding Maldivian civil law. Maldivian media, both government and opposition, imposed a strict-blackout on the story, so as not to expose the paedophile that Mohamed was.

Devout Muslims rape their maid servants to discharge a "holy" Sunnah

Saudi male heads of household continue Mohamed's tradition of sexual abuse of maidservants. Mohamed had sex with his wife Hafsa's maid Maria on Hafsa's bed. Maria fathered him his son Ibrahim. Today's Saudis are following in Mohamed's footsteps and are forcing sex with Filipina, Sri Lankan, Indonesian and soon Egyptian women. Asia’s Islamic extremists add beheadings to their arsenal

It took two days for the young Muslim assassin to calm his nerves before the slaying.
Then, Mohama Waekaji says, he walked one cool morning to a rice mill, carrying a knife and following orders from a guerrilla commander to behead the 72-year-old Buddhist owner.
He asked the elderly man, Juan Kaewtongprakam, for some rice husks. As he turned to collect them, Waekaji says, he slashed the blade through the man’s neck.
"I didn’t dare to disobey," the 23-year-old Waekaji said in an interview with The Associated Press _ the first time a Thai militant accused of a beheading has spoken to the Western media. "I knew they would come after me if I did not do what I was told."
The killing in February was one in a spate of beheadings that has shocked Thailand, a nation with no past history of the practice, and fueled fears that the brutal terrorist tactics of the Middle East are spreading in Asia.
Twenty-five beheadings _ including 10 already this year _ have been reported in southern Thailand since an Islamic-inspired insurgency erupted in 2004, claiming more than 2,200 lives. Militants in the heavily Muslim region seek independence from mostly Buddhist Thailand.
"Beheadings are certainly on the rise outside of the Middle East proper," said Timothy Furnish, professor of Middle Eastern history at Georgia Perimeter College. "These groups do take their cues from ... hardcore Islamic thought coming out of the Arab world. Beheading infidels not only shocks, but also demonstrates Islamic bona fides to other groups."
Thai authorities say jihad videos from the Middle East, captured from rebel training camps, may be inspiring young men like Waekaji. One clip said to have come from Iraq shows a woman lying on her side on a patch of grass as a man slowly cuts her throat with a long knife. Blood spurts from the wound, the screaming finally stops and her head is completely severed.
"The inspiration is clearly coming across the Internet or through DVDs clips," said Zachary Abuza, an expert on terrorism in Southeast Asia at Simmons College in Boston.
"Islamist militants in Southeast Asia are very frustrated that the region is considered the Islamic periphery," Abuza added. "... Militants of the region are actively trying to pull the region into the Islamic core. They want people to understand that their jihad is a part of the global jihad."
Beheadings have been linked to other militants across Asia, including groups in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indian-held Kashmir and Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim nation. In the mostly Roman Catholic Philippines, at least 37 people have been decapitated in the last decade by the al-Qaida-linked Abu Sayyaf.
Beheadings are not solely a tool of guerrillas. Its imposed as punishment under some strict interpretations of Islamic law such as in Saudi Arabia and under the former Taliban regime in Afghanistan.

100 women in black tents occupy Maldives Olympic Committee demanding to pole-vault in hijab at Beijing 2012

No. Thats not true. I made it up. "200 women in black tents invade the Peoples Majlis demanding they be circumsized according to the Hadith and Sunna" . I made that up too.
What I am not making up is a trend among certain groups of Muslims today to declare their own segregated societies. They want their own laws, which is usually a strict adherence to the Koran and Hadith.
Other countries are grappling with this problem too. In the UK and other countries, the Muslims are demanding their own laws. The right to pray according to their own belief is a human right. But things like covering the face in public cannot be allowed for public safety. Some of the practices of the Wahhabi community cannot be allowed as they contravene human rights. Their treatment of women is cruel and disgusting.
In their Islam there is no government except their own interpretation of Islam. They place their religion before the nation.

Some Muslims are finding that some Islamic laws are ludicrous. According to hadith and sunna a kind of breastfeeding was encouraged by Mohammed and practised by his wife Aisha, but people today find it repugnant and so the fatwa was withdrawn.

The Wahhabis have tried to hold their own Friday prayers. The police baton charged the congregation. The Wahhabis fought back by throwing stones and iron bars. This conflict is not going to end soon.

Another Christian condemned to death for blasphemy, without any proof

A Pakistani district court has condemned to Younis Masih, accused of having offended Muhammad and the Koran. His defence lawyer denounces the lack of any proof and police negligence and prepares an appeal.

Lahore (AsiaNews) – A Pakistani district court yesterday condemned to death Younis Masih, a Christian accused of blasphemy. The judges also condemned to man to pay a fine amounting to 100 thousand Rupees. Defence lawyers denounce a lack of evidence and accuse police of negligence for not having carried out a thorough investigation into the case.

Police had registered a blasphemy case against Masih on September 10, 2005: according to charges laid against him he allegedly made derogatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad and the Koran at during an argument with a group of Muslims, an offence punishable by hanging or life imprisonment according to state law.

Masih’s lawyer explains that “the sentence is based on nothing. Evidence based on the hearsay of Muslims only serves to have a man killed”. The lawyer went on to explain the dynamics of the case: “Christians had arranged a spiritual gathering at Chungi Ammarsidhu in September 9, 2005, at which a neighbour had objected”. Abdul Aziz, a plaintiff in the case began an argument with Masih “demanding that they perform Islamic rituals instead of Christian rites. The argument turned hot during, and two days later the charges of blasphemy were laid”.
