Aniya - harrasment and intimidation continue...

"Wednesday morning, police arrived at Aishath Aniya's home and said she needed to attend the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs for questioning in relation to comments she made about the veil in a Minivan Daily article in March. Aniya said she did not believe the Supreme Council had the right to compel her attendance, and told police they would have to arrest her and “take [her] in handcuffs.”

The Supreme Council has since publicly denied they demanded Aniya appear before them. "
......"Media Coordinator Najeeb did confirm to Minivan News that the Supreme Council had asked to question Aniya when her article was first published in March, and remained interested in doing so. "
Ibn Batuta the famous Moroccan traveller and former Chief Justice of Maldives records that he failed in his attempts to put Maldvian women in veil. According to him the veil was an object of derision and riducule to the women.
Today the Islamists are much more powerful. The power that women once enjoyed has eroded under continual pressure from the mullahs. Only a few women like Aniya have the courage to stand up to them.

For your kind information (and Aaniya's too):

It weren't the Mullahs who said women should wear veils. Womens' dress code is from the holy Quran.

So if Aaniyah rejects it, means she's defying Allah. No wonder the "harassment" and "intimidation" continues.

    ==

Courage to stand up against God? Yeah... very brave indeed. hahahaha.

Once again, I would ask YOU to shut your mouth about women's rights; cos u come from a religion where women are treated lowlier than scum. Enjoy these verses:

“The birth of a daughter is a loss” (Ecclesiasticus 22:3).

“A man who educates his son will be the envy of his enemy.” (Ecclesiasticus 30:3).

“Your daughter is headstrong? Keep a sharp look-out that she does not make you the laughing stock of your enemies, the talk of the town, the object of common gossip, and put you to public shame” (Ecclesiasticus 42:11).

“Keep a headstrong daughter under firm control, or she will abuse any indulgence she receives. Keep a strict watch on her shameless eye, do not be surprised if she disgraces you” (Ecclesiasticus 26:10-11).

“How can a woman have anything; whatever is hers belongs to her husband? What is his is his and what is hers is also his…… Her earnings and what she may find in the streets are also his. The household articles, even the crumbs of bread on the table, are his. Should she invite a guest to her house and feed him, she would be stealing from her husband…” (San. 71a, Git. 62a)

    deuteronomy 21:11

“And seest among the captives a abominations, which they have done unto their beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your thou wouldest have her to thy wife; then God. thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails“

    1 corinthians 14:43

“Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith in the law. And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in church.”

Go and tell Aaniyah about those verses. And tell her how WELL women are treated in other religions. Do, tell.

The women at the time of Ibn Batuta was topless. He speaks of his failure in perusing women to dress up. The women of that time were whores who sold their bodies to sailors to earn income. You must be sick to think this is the power that our women should have, the power to make Maldives once again the skin market of the Indian ocean.

In Christianity too you are forced to hide your vagina and breasts. Your Aniya would argue for the freedom to run naked on the streets.Would you support that freedom.I for one would love to see your sisters naked.

VERSES FROM THE BIBLE/ Anonymous, until your shameful surrender here you used to appear under another name, but then that's no big deal. We know who you are. In case you didn't know, the Bible is a collection of historical Judeo-Christian documents written by a large number of people over a very long period of time. Some of it is written in parables and some refer to the mode of conduct of the day when it was written.

In the Old Testament that we still have today, adulterers are condemned to death by stoning, the same as the Koran once did. Some Jews asked Jesus for a judgement on that and brought an adulterous woman to him. He told them that if anyone amongst them was not sinless then let him cast the first stone. She was spared because of this challenge as no one was prepared to claim they were sinless. Jesus demonstrated forgiveness as opposed to Mohamed's vengeful and bloodthirsty nature. The passage still remains in the Old Testament in spite of Jesus forgiving the woman. This is because the Bible is a historical document.

The Old and the New Testaments were codified many years after the establishment of the Christian Church. It is claimed that the Koran was transmitted from Mohamed's supreme ancestral pagan god Allah, verbatim, by a spook whom Mohamed claimed to be the archangel Gabriel. The Bible does not occupy the same place in Christianity as the Koran does in Islam. The Koran is the irrefutable word of Allah and any shortcomings in it shatter Mohamed’s claims in their entirety. The Bible was written and codified by men, albeit under some divine inspiration. In Christianity the Word of God is Jesus Himself and it is not possible to find fault with Him. Even your Koran gives Jesus that special place, which it does not give even Mohamed. Mohamed said in Koran 4:171

    إِنَّمَا ٱلْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُۥٓ

“Christ Jesus son of Mary was but a messenger from Allah and his Word”.

So VERSES FROM THE BIBLE/ Anonymous do not waste your time and quote these passages from the Holy Scriptures. We shall not be perturbed. The Koran and the Hadith are full of indictments against the author of the Koran, your cult-leader Mohamed bin Abdillah. Exposing them would send Islam crashing down into an abyss of oblivion. This is what you are worried about. The sudden outburst of vulgar language and loss of cool demonstrate this clearly.

We Christians find inspiration and meaning in the Bible but it is not the be all and end all of our faith. God has blessed us with the Comforter; the Holy Spirit; the third person of the Holy Trinity. So God dwells in us and we are continually being inspired and guided by Him.

so let's talk about women's right in Ismail's own religion:

Dont tell us what the bible is. we all know what it is; a JOKE BOOK. ur just pissed off cos i'm letting the whole blogosphere know what a GREAT jokebook it is.

and yes, I believe Eesaa was a prophet of Allah. Quran calls him Eesa. So his name was Eesa. Not "Christ".

d u know that the word 'Christ' is a Greek word???? i didn't know Jesus was born in greece, though. Was he??

God has blessed u with comforters?? U mean the child-abusing Popes, Nuns n Priests who are also homosexuals?? What a comfort that is.

Trinity... hmmm... God, Christ n the Ghost.

By the way, what's the name of your God? Just god?

"We shall not be perturbed." ???

    oh really?

No wonder u have given such a beautiful explanation telling us all the Bible is not at all important and that its only holy scripture.. not gods words.

    very typical.

    truth hurts doesn't it...

the maldivian ppl will know the insanity n corruption in christianity. and i will see to it. u mark my words.

Nass, The Greek word is Kristos. Christ is an English word. Obviously you neither read nor understand your Koran. Notice the word "al-Maseeh" in front of the name "Eisa" in the Arabic passage I have copied from your Koran? That is an Arabic word and translates as Kristos to Greek. Those who translate the New Testament from Hebrew to English usually use the word "Messiah" and Greek to English translations use the word "Christ". They all mean the same thing. Respected Islamic translators of the Koran to English also render "al Maseeh Eisa ibn Maryam" as "Christ Jesus son of Mary".

You see the difference between you and me Nass? I rejected Islam after studying the nonsense in Dhivehi, English and Arabic. You have no knowledge of any of those languages and are a Muslim out of ignorance.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Anonymous8:37 AM

P.S: Nass, Christ Jesus' native language was Aramaic sometimes known as Syriaic. In Aramaic his name was Yesua and so Eesaa would have been as foreign to him as Jesus. Jesus is a Latin-derived transliteration of Yesua which, in a way is closer to the Aramaic than the Arabic transliteration. The Latin Y is I (in some Romanic languages J). The -us ending is a Latin grammatical ending.

yo yo... I never denied his name wasnt messiah ;)...

"Christ" was derived from the Greek word, fine. But its name given to him by YOU folk. Not by God or his mother. That's the point i was talkin about.

n i never said Jesus spoke in Arabic.

n when did I say jesus was your son? We all know jesus was the son of Mary... what is your problem anyway??

u are jumping into conclusions too fast for your good, bro!

u know the difference between u and me? that u are too desperate. n we all can see it clearly. so calm down n take things easy.... we have all the time in the world for this...

Nass, Kristos/ Christ/ Messiah/ Maseeh is NOT a name at all. It is a title. When you say Golhabo Maumoon the name is Maumoon and Golhabo is his title (in Golha’s case it is derogatory). Get it? Literally Christ means “the one who has oil poured on to his head (anointed). Anointing is a symbolism used for appointing a person to high office. In usage it means the one who is anointed as the Saviour. God had promised a Saviour to the children of Israel (Jacob) and mankind. Nass, you are proving to the world how ignorant you are even of Mohamed’s nonsense you call Koran. The Koran refers to Jesus as Maseeh which, of course, means Christ. Incidentally Mohodhey had no idea what the word meant when he used it in the Koran. He was just parroting off a word that he had heard the Christian relatives of his boss (later wife) Khadija used. As a result he ended up inadvertently acknowledging that Jesus’ title was higher than the titles he bestowed upon himself, namely Nabi (prophet) and Rasool (apostle).

What I wrote about the name "Jesus" has gone right past and above your head. I should have known. I don't usually descend to ad hominem arguments but I have to note, in your case, that a dense cranium shows up even across cyberspace.

Anonymous (the one who is now too ashamed to sign his own name after being mercilessly shamed here)! When I comment on Islam I do so out of a profound knowledge of the killing-cult. Before you comment on Christianity or even Islam I suggest you do the same- in the case of Christianity make an effort to find out at least its basic teachings. Don't worry, you won't have to convert.

If we compare what we know of the life and actions of Mohammed to those Jesus and the Buddha, they are worlds apart. Mohammed practiced violence and unimaginable cruelty. Read the Koran, Hadith and Siyarath.
The only violence (if at all you can call it that) attributed to Jesus is overturning the table of the moneylenders. There is no account of violent acts by the Buddha or Jesus. I cannot give equal reverence to a horrible cult of fear and death.
