Maj. Gen. Jalil Khalaf blamed sectarian groups that he said were trying to impose a strict interpretation of Islam. They dispatch patrols of motorbikes or unlicensed cars with tinted windows to accost women not wearing traditional dress and head scarves, he added.
"The women of Basra are being horrifically murdered and then dumped in the garbage with notes saying they were killed for un-Islamic behavior," Khalaf told The Associated Press. He said men with Western clothes or haircuts are also attacked in Basra, an oil-rich city some 30 miles from the Iranian border and 340 miles southeast of Baghdad.

This is not something happened in accordance with the Islamic teachings. This punishment cannot be given for not wearing the Hijab. So this action is unislamic. Islam has nothing to do about this.

Why don't you bring the news about inhuman teachings of the Bible?(such fingering daughters vaginas, punishing rape victims etc..?)
Recently there was a news that some one chopped off his own
penis to follow this biblical teaching!

I know the reason why the religion haters single out Islam.
Because those ones who hates and are jealous of the religion of
Islam, for jealousy and hatred only come to a person when he
sees an obvious blessing, which gives rise to hatred and envy
in his heart. When those who came up with this claim saw the Muslims and the obvious blessings that they enjoy such as peace of mind and tranquility of heart, and the rare occurrence among the Muslims of evils such as adultery and alcohol consumption, and the low numbers of Muslims afflicted by physical and mental diseases which are rampant among them (the non-Muslims), such as AIDS and other illnesses, and when they saw the glowing history of the Muslims and how they were masters of the world
when they adhered to Islam, and other manifest blessings to which everyone attests, and they saw how many people were becoming Muslim every day throughout the world, that upset them and they feared the spread of Islam, but they could not resist it except by using the feeble trick of slander.
So continue with your fruitless work! Your thirst will only continue to grow in this world and in the hereafter you will be the amoung the losers!

Today you can easily say that I don't believe in the Hereafter, but if there is (surely there is) Hereafter without doubt you will be amoung the losers!! Think once more! Death is near! Open your eyes and see the reality! When you die is the end of the game?
