"She said hell was mostly occupied by women. That's why we were targeted," Detik.com quoted one of the students, Siti Nurjanah, as saying.
The teacher pressed the matchstick on the cheek of one of the students who blew the flame out because she was scared, the student reportedly said.
School principal Erik Sudeni said the teacher had been suspended pending an internal investigation.
Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim country with more than 85 percent of its 230 million people following Islam. From: The Times of India
Mohammed, along with Buraq and Gabriel, visit Hell, and see a demon punishing "shameless women" who had exposed their hair to strangers. For this crime of inciting lust in men, the women are strung up by their hair and burned for eternity.
Mohammed sees women strung up by hooks through their tongues by a green demon. Their crimes were to 'mock' their husbands and to leave their homes without permission
Further on, Mohammed sees a red demon that is torturing women by hanging them up by hooks through their breasts, as they are engulfed in flames. The women are being punished for giving birth to illegitimate children whom they falsely claimed were fathered by their husbands
Books on “The punishments of the grave (Kavvalhuge Azaabu)” and other such books and CD's are now in every childrens sections of all bookstores.
To read about what books are not available in the Maldives read this essay
I have been told by Muraasil: the number one Dhivehi (thaana) crowd generated news content website in Maldives that Dajjal is coming المسيح الدجّال. It is supposed to be quite an event. Dajjal who is blind in his right eye, will gather an army of those he has deceived and lead them in a war against Jesus, who shall be accompanied by an army of the righteous. In forty days he will travel the whole world preaching his falsehood but will be unable to enter Mecca or Medina. Maybe he will not produce an umra visa. Maybe Dajjal will not have a Saudi residency permit.
In any case, let the Muslims have their TV channel (my favourite to play Jesus in the Dajjal movie is Ali Rameez). I shall tune into the Muslim channel when Dajjal arrives. But until Dajjal comes, I don't want to be reminded about it everyday.
I want all this religious stuff out of TVM. Let the religious people raise their own money and run their own tv channel. Allah will provide if he wishes and Adhaalat Party has his contact and address. Once they get started, the Muslim Arab petrodollars will come in and there will be more employment in the Muslim Arab mimicry industry with this new expansion.
Collecting a religious tax should not be the work of government. This zakat money thing will get more contentious and there will be more bickering. The Government should get out of the religion business. Let the religious people pay their own way. Let the Christians, Hindhus, Buddhists and others have their own channels. Give the Muslims their own channel.
Islamic Scholars are like African Grey parrots. Some of you may find this assessment harsh, brutal and undeserving. Then again sometimes the wound has to be opened and cleaned before you apply the medicine for the cure to work.
Yes. Islamic Scholars are like African Grey parrots.
African Grey parrots are considered to be talented talking parrots and are probably best known for their amazing ability to mimic. The African Grey's talent to mimic is not restricted to human speech; they readily and skillfully imitate many other "human" sounds like microwaves, doorbells, telephones, coffee grinders and percolators, computer modems and water faucets, to name just a few.
We have sent some of our children to Islamic schools abroad to learn to mimic. They come back and teach us to mimic the Muslim Arabs. We set up schools in Maldives to learn to mimic the Muslim Arab. This whole business of mimicry has become a huge industry. A large part of the national wealth is now being spent to keep these Muslim Arab Parrots happy.
There is also this other side to the nature of the African Grey. Apparently Wild African Grey Parrots frequently whistle, shriek, squeak, click, etc. Learning to tolerate this natural quality of your Grey is supposed to be important if a peaceful relationship is to be maintained.
In a similar fashion these Islamic scholars are constantly shrieking about some Shaithaan and that we must all obey Allah and follow some guy named Mohammed otherwise when we are dead will suffer horrible things.
They will squeak if you don’t stop what you are doing and give their mimicry center stage and prime time attention. Like a lingering diarrhea, five times daily I am subjected to this torture. They are always trying to impose their censorship and behavioral rules on everybody. We all know their music is haraam and Allah will send tsunamis routines. For there to be peace, these birds are demanding all Dhivehi in willing submission become Muslim Arab mimics like them. I just want to point out we are practically in a hostage situation.
Now if an African grey continuously mimicked the sounds of a flushing toilet or a tile-cutting saw at a construction site, it could be annoying.
When the Muslim Arab is mimicked there are huge consequences. The most damaging mimicry we learn from Muslim Arabs is the treatment of the female. It is a perverted, disgusting and evil way towards the female sex.
To conquer the world, the Muslims came up with an ingenious social invention - a breeding system that motivates successful warriors with a great incentive to spread their faith and their culture. Islam has the remarkable advantage of being highly patriarchal and polygamous with great sexual benefits for those warriors able to conquer in its name; Islam was and remains a great male racket.
These “Islamic Scholars” want to continue and expand this racket in Maldives.
The subjugation and enslavement of women under a rigid system of gender apartheid is the oxygen that keeps their racket going and what these mullahs are doing in Maldives. Maldivians have done away with the one man-one woman formula for having and raising their offspring and made the female a commodity like donkeys or camels.
These kinds of behavior demand that we become zombies – a people who do not use logic and reason.
I just keep following the instructions of Allah and Mohamed without questioning.
Option One
After I die, if Allah is happy with how I followed his instructions I will get virgin girls and I can ejaculate non-stop. I just bring my imagination along and Allah will provide the rest.
Option Two
If Allah finds out I did not follow his instructions, he is gonna burn and fry me in pain for eternity. Allah’s imagination must be without limits,
“African Grey parrots have been tested using rigorous scientific standards, and are classed alongside the most intelligent animal species.
Dr. Irene Pepperberg's extensive research with captive African greys, famously with a bird named Alex, has claimed they possess the ability to associate human words with meanings, and to intelligently apply the abstract concepts of shape, color, number, zero-sense, etc.
According to Pepperberg and others, they perform many cognitive tasks at the level of dolphins, chimpanzees, and even a human toddler[8] There exists a good deal of skepticism regarding the last assertion.”
My assertion is that these "Islamic Scholars" are like African Grey parrots. And they have created an industry which is a plague on Divehi society.
Calling them 'scholars’ is an insult to my intelligence.
Best-selling novelist Sebastian Faulks has risked incurring the wrath of Muslims by dismissing the Koran as just 'the depressive rantings of a schizophrenic' with 'no ethical dimension'.
The author of Birdsong and Engleby also claimed that, compared to the Bible, the Islamic holy scripture is 'barren'.
Faulks, who turned to the Koran while researching his latest novel, said: 'It’s a depressing book. It really is. It’s just the rantings of a schizophrenic. It’s very one-dimensional, and people talk about the beauty of the Arabic and so on, but the English translation I read was, from a literary point of view, very disappointing.
'There is also the barrenness of the message,' he told The Sunday Times. 'I mean, there are some bits about diet, you know, the equivalent of the Old Testament, which is also crazy.
'But the great thing about the Old Testament is that it does have these incredible stories. Of the 100 greatest stories ever told, 99 are probably in the Old Testament and the other is in Homer.
'With the Koran there are no stories. And it has no ethical dimension like the New Testament, no new plan for life. It says ‘the Jews and the Christians were along the right tracks, but actually, they were wrong and I’m right, and if you don’t believe me, tough — you’ll burn for ever'. That’s basically the message of the book.'
Faulks read the Koran to help him write A Week in December, which will be published next month.
The novel, which is set in present-day London, has a cast of characters including the wife of Britain's youngest MP, a female Tube train driver, a hedge fund manager and a Glasgow-born Islamic terrorist recruit.
Ajmal Masroor, an imam and spokesman for the Islamic Society of Britain said Faulk's statements ran the risk of stirring religious hatred against Muslims.
'Attacks on Islam are nothing new, but the danger is this will have a 'drip, drip' effect.
'People don't seem to understand the consequences of saying things like this could be quite severe. History tells us it can encourage hatred.'
In 1989, a fatwa was issued for the author Salman Rushdie, after the publication of his book The Satanic Verses the previous year. Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the spiritual leader of Iran at the time, said the book was 'blasphemous against Islam, and called for Rushdie to be executed.
"Given the historic religious and military significance of Ramadan, Islamist groups, as well as some mainstream Arab organizations, escalate incitement to terrorism during this period,"
More than one billion Muslims mark the start of Ramadan on Friday - their holiest month of the year, devoted to prayer, fasting and charity.
But for a small minority, it is also regarded as an auspicious time to escalate violence in the name of jihad.
As a result, experts expect a surge in terrorism attacks during Ramadan, when most Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset in a spiritual exercise that teaches discipline, self-restraint and generosity.
This week, in the run-up to Ramadan, hundreds of Muslims were murdered in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Yemen and Somalia.
Seven massive car bombs exploded in Iraq on Wednesday, killing 96 people and injuring 536; yesterday four suicide bombers attacked police posts in Chechnya, just days after a bomb outside a police station in neighbouring Ingushetia killed 25 people and injured 160. Fierce fighting also exploded in Somalia on Friday, killing 22 people, as Islamist rebels launched a Ramadan offensive against African Union peacekeepers in Mogadishu.
"The month of Ramadan has a special status as the month of religious spirituality and devotion. However, in Muslim tradition it is also perceived as a month of jihad, a month in which Allah grants military victories to his believers," says a report by the Washington-based Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).
"It was during Ramadan that Muslims triumphed in many battles throughout the history of jihad for the sake of Allah -- among them the battle of Badr in 624, the conquest of Mecca in 630 and of Andalusia in 711, the battle of Al-Zallaqa (in Andalusia) in 1086, the battle of Ein Jalut in 1260, as well as the 1973 [Yom Kippur War with Israel]."
"Given the historic religious and military significance of Ramadan, Islamist groups, as well as some mainstream Arab organizations, escalate incitement to terrorism during this period," it adds.
In the past, radical Islamists escalated conflicts in Algeria, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Bosnia and Iraq during Ramadan.
On Saturday, Islamist websites are filled with rumours of a new Ramadan message from Osama bin Laden. In the past, al-Qaeda called for Ramadan terror campaigns "to come closer to Allah through the blood of infidels."
This week, Maulana Noor Muhammad, a spokesman for the Pakistani religious organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, told the Urdu-language newspaper Roznama Dunya the Prophet Muhammad regularly undertook battles during Ramadan.
"In such pious times, participate in jihad and continue the support to the mujahideen," he said. "Nowadays, infidel forces want to destroy Islam and the Koranic orders. The fight [against the infidels] is not the responsibility of Taliban and Arab mujahedeen alone; rather it is the responsibility of the entire Ummah [Muslim world].''
In a similar vein, Muslim Khan, a spokesman for the Taliban in Pakistan's Swat Valley, warned his group is preparing a Ramadan offensive.
"The Taliban will intensify attacks," he said. "It won't be long until they gain control of entire Swat Valley. We have a large number of suicide bombers and now is the time to use them."
Last year, 10 days before Ramadan ended, terrorists demolished the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad in a suicide bombing that killed 40 people.
Potential terror attacks are widespread. Police in Saudi Arabia say they broke-up an al-Qaeda cell and arrested 43 Saudis and one foreigner. They seized explosives, machineguns and bomb detonators.
Police in neighbouring Kuwait have also arrested six suspected terrorists, who they say planned to attack Camp Arifjan, home to 15,000 U.S. troops.
Manmohan Singh, India's Prime Minister, says security forces are on the alert for another terror attack by the Pakistani group Lashkar-e-Taiba. He said he has "credible information of ongoing plans of terrorist groups in Pakistan to carry out fresh attacks." Nine months ago, Pakistani gunmen staged a commando-style raid on Mumbai that killed 166 people.
Many Muslims reject radical Islamists and condemn using Ramadan to justify violence.
"Ramadan is about returning to the fountain of truth and drinking from it as deeply as possible," Muqtedar Khan, director of Islamic studies at the University of Delaware, writes. "Unfortunately, for some Muslims, murder and mayhem rather than prayer and fasting have become a way to celebrate Ramadan."
"One cannot imagine to what extent the minds and the hearts of these people have become poisoned, that in the month of Ramadan, when even frowning is undesirable, they chose to murder and maim indiscriminately," he said.
This week, Bangladesh announced it is launching a public awareness campaign during Ramadan to counter calls for violent jihad.
"Teachers of schools, colleges and madrasas and Imams of mosques will campaign against militancy at their respective workplaces across the country," said Shamsul Haque Tuku, state minister for home affairs.
Police in Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim state, will also monitor religious sermons during Ramadan to discourage militancy.
"Police will follow, monitor, record, and if there are any that relate to provocative efforts we will certainly take action," police spokesman Nanan Soekarna said.
Yes. you CAN stop this anti-women cancer at a minimum by spreading this article to anyone close to you.
So, let’s look on the real value of women in Islam in detail, in the light of authentic Islamic scriptures.
1. To be stoned to death (Value number 1)
Sahih Bukhari: Book 50, Hadith 885:
Narrated Abu Huraira and Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani: A bedouin came to Allah's Apostle and said, "O Allah's apostle! I ask you by Allah to judge My case according to Allah's Laws." His opponent, who was more learned than he, said, "Yes, judge between us according to Allah's Laws, and allow me to speak." Allah's Apostle said, "Speak." He (i .e. the bedouin or the other man) said, "My son was working as a laborer for this (man) and he committed illegal sexual intercourse with his wife. The people told me that it was obligatory that my son should be stoned to death, so in lieu of that I ransomed my son by paying one hundred sheep and a slave girl. Then I asked the religious scholars about it, and they informed me that my son must be lashed one hundred lashes, and be exiled for one year, and the wife of this (man) must be stoned to death." Allah's Apostle said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, I will judge between you according to Allah's Laws. The slave-girl and the sheep are to be returned to you, your son is to receive a hundred lashes and be exiled for one year. You, Unais, go to the wife of this (man) and if she confesses her guilt, stone her to death." Unais went to that woman next morning and she confessed. Allah's Apostle ordered that she be stoned to death.
2. Women who pass by a praying man annul his prayer
Bukhari Book 9, Hadith 493:
Narrated 'Aisha: The things which annul prayer were mentioned before me (and those were): a dog, a donkey and a Woman. I said, "You have compared us (women) to donkeys and dogs. By Allah! I saw the Prophet praying while I used to lie in (my) bed between him and the Qibla. Whenever I was in need of something, I disliked sitting and troubling the Prophet. So, I would slip away by the side of his feet."This Hadith shows that there is no difference between dog, donkey or women. Well that really hurts. From my childhood I learnt from my parents to respect ladies, but in here Islam teaches us women are just like dogs and donkeys, but wait, it does not only rest on women.
3. A Jew also annuls the prayers of a man
Bukhari: Book 2, Hadith 704:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: Ikrimah reported on the authority of Ibn Abbas, saying: I think the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: When one of you prays without a sutrah, a dog, an ass, a pig, a Jew, a Magian, and a woman cut off his prayer, but it will suffice if they pass in front of him at a distance of over a stone's throw.
4. Women are equal to black dogs
Bukhari: Book 4, Hadith 32:
Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of 'Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When any one of you stands for prayer and there is a thing before him equal to the back of the saddle that covers him and in case there is not before him (a thing) equal to the back of the saddle, his prayer would be cut off by (passing of an) ass, woman, and black Dog. I said: O Abu Dharr, what feature is there in a black dog which distinguish it from the red dog and the yellow dog? He said: O, son of my brother, I asked the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) as you are asking me, and he said: The black dog is a devil.
5. Women are not ones to be trusted
Bukhari Book 20, Hadith 192:
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet said, "A Woman should not travel for more than three days except with a Dhi-Mahram (i.e. a male with whom she cannot marry at all, e.g. her brother, father, grandfather, etc.) or her own husband.)
Bukhari Book 20, Hadith 194:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, "It is not permissible for a Woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel for one day and night except with a Mahram."
That likely suggests that those young Muslimahs traveling abroad or relocating their cities for jobs or studies should first get married or take their dad or elder brother with them. The reality is the majority of Muslim families do not practice it, but for those, who aspire to or practice it, such as the Talibans, it is completely justified as per Islamic creed.
6. A Muslim man, if happens to meet an unrelated woman, he must rush immediately to his wife and have intercourse with her to repel the devil in that woman
Bukhari Book 8, Hadith 3240:
Jabir reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) saw a woman, and so he came to his wife, Zainab, as she was tanning a leather and had sexual intercourse with her. He then went to his Companions and told them: The woman advances and retires in the shape of a devil, so when one of you sees a woman, he should come to his wife, for that will repel what he feels in his heart.Muslimahs are advised here to be prepared 24/7 for your husbands, because you never know when your husbands will demand sex from you. And due to the fact that, nowadays, contrary to ancient societies, so many beautiful girls are free to move on their own, your husbands have no choice but to see them and they inevitably have to rush to demanding sex immediately. If you protest, you are against the Apostle of Allah and that guarantees Hell fire.
7. Women primary purpose in life is to express beauty, status, and to believe in Allah. What they do with their brains in their families is secondary and insignificant
Bukhari Book 8, Hadith 3457:
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: A woman may be married for four reasons: for her property, her status, her beauty and her religion, so try to get one who is religious, may your hand be besmeared with dust.
8. Women are crooks and useless creature
Bukhari Book 8, Hadith 3466:
AbuHuraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: woman is like a rib. When you attempt to straighten it, you would break it. And if you leave her alone you would benefit by her, and crookedness will remain in her. A hadith like this is reported by another chain of narrators.
9. Women are simply of bad luck, bad omen
Bukhari Book 26, Hadith 5526:
Umar b. Muhammad b. Zaid reported that he heard his father narrating from Ibn 'Umar that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) had said. If bad luck is a fact, then it is in the horse, the woman and the house.
Bukhari Book 29, Hadith 3911:
Narrated Sa'd ibn Malik: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: There is no hamah, no infection and no evil omen; if there is in anything an evil omen, it is a house, a horse, and a woman.
10. Women are breeding machines
Bukhari Book 11, Hadith 2045:
Narrated Ma'qil ibn Yasar: A man came to the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) and said: I have found a woman of rank and beauty, but she does not give birth to children. Should I marry her? He said: No. He came again to him, but he prohibited him. He came to him third time, and he (the Prophet) said: Marry women who are loving and very prolific, for I shall outnumber the peoples by you.
11. A woman to her husband is analogous to a slave to her master
Bukhari Book 11, Hadith 2155:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: If one of you marries a woman or buys a slave, he should say: "O Allah, I ask Thee for the good in her, and in the disposition Thou hast given her; I take refuge in Thee from the evil in her, and in the disposition Thou hast given her." When he buys a camel, he should take hold of the top of its hump and say the same kind of thing.
Bukhari Book 12, Hadith 2170:
Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Anyone who incites a woman against her husband or a slave against his master is not one of us.
Bukhari Book 12, Hadith 2229:
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Al-Qasim said: Aisha intended to set free two slaves of her who were spouses. She, therefore, asked the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) about this matter. He commanded to begin with the man before the woman. The narrator Nasr said: AbuAli al-Hanafi reported it to me on the authority of Ubaydullah. 12. Women forbidden from expressing emotions Bukhari Book 20, Hadith 3122:Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri: The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) cursed the wailing woman and the woman who listens to her. It's not clear as to why Allah's Apostle would prevent women from expressing their emotions. My best guess is that, after the Noble Prophet had massacred the entire men of certain tribes (e.g. Qurayzah), the widows of the slain kept wailing for their murdered husbands unceasingly, annoying the merciful prophet. The noble Prophet, therefore, cursed the wailing bereaved women to stop the wailing.
13. Also said that the majority of hell dwellers will be women
Bukhari Book 2, Hadith 28:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet said: I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful. It was asked, "Do they disbelieve in Allah?" (or are they ungrateful to Allah?) He replied, "They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors and the good (charitable deeds) done to them. If you have always been good (benevolent) to one of them and then she sees something in you (not of her liking), she will say, "I have never received any good from you."
Conclusion
It's hard to understand as to why Allah and his Apostle expressed such a profound distaste for women---from being of bad luck, to equate them with dogs, to be stoned to death while a man is let free for a similar offense. Please ACT now; stop the spread of Islam and save women. Not a day passes without a woman being raped, forced in marriage or honor killed. It's happening everywhere, wherever is Islam. If there is one reason Islam need to be stopped, it is for the sake of women. Yes. you Can stop this anti-women cancer at a minimum by spreading this article to anyone close to you.
A Muslim man, if happens to meet an unrelated woman, he must rush immediately to his wife and have intercourse with her to repel the devil in that woman - Bukhari Book 8, Hadith 3240
Since childhood, I have been told by Muslims that women's value Islam is unprecedented in other cultures or religions; no other religion gives that much value to their women as does Islam. Being raised a non-Muslim in a predominantly Muslim country and having seen the plight of Muslim women there, I deeply knew that what my Muslim neighbors and friends were telling stems from their sheer ignorance of Islam as well as of other religions or cultures.
In this article, I will discuss the above mentioned topic. Since childhood, I have always heard from Muslims that the value given to women in Islam is unprecedented in other cultures or religions, that no other religion gives that much value to their women as gives Islam. Being raised a non-Muslim from a predominantly Muslim country, and having seen, with my own eyes, the plight of Muslim women (muslimahs) in this country of my birth, I deeply knew that what my Muslim neighbors and friends were telling stems from the fact that they were and are ignorant of Islam and other religions or cultures.
I have no intention, whatsoever, of making a comparative analysis between Islam and other religions. I am here only to write about what the ‘only true’ and the supposedly ‘merciful religion’ to mankind teaches about women.
First, it is important to mention here that some of the most important of Prophet (PBUH) teachings are collected in what is called Hadith—a record of Muhammad’s words and deeds according to His wives, relatives, and faithful companions. Next to the Quran, it is the most important part of Islamic law; its teachings are just as authoritative as the Quran’s. The Hadith is recorded in many books, but not all of them are agreed upon by all Muslims though. All of our quotes here are from ‘Sahih Al-Bukhari’, which comes in nine volumes, and contains thousands of Hadiths. Al Bukhari is accepted as authentic words of the Prophet Muslims and Islamic scholars through the centuries.
Because of the limited space, I will mention here just a few examples. My purpose here is to give the reader a taste of the teachings of the Muhammad, the prophet of Islam. Some of these teachings may shock you, and some may amuse you. Others may simply leave you mystified.Once again, I mainly know two things about Islam: 1) Quran & 2) Sunna (Hadith). Most of Muslims agree with this comment that, without Hadith, it is not possible to understand the Quran, which is indeed the case.
For example, Muslims know that the Quran vaguely mentions about the Hajj and five-time prayers a day, but says nothing about how to perform them. Here Hadith becomes indispensable as it goes on to explain how to perform the hajj and prayer rituals, what prayers should be said at what time of the day and when you go for Hajj etc.And it is by this that we actually learn the real value of women in Islam. It is an undeniable that most Muslim women are proud to be Muslims. In fact, most of the western converts to Islam are women. But if you, by chance, get to interview some of these Muslim women about what they feel so great about Islam, the likely answers are as follows:
They feel great on what Islam promise them about their inheritance (half of what a man is likely to inherit);
They feel great because, in Islam, they are not a public property (of course a non-Muslim will be bewildered at this claim);
They are kept under constant male guardianship (husbands, male relatives, etc), interpreted as constant protection and having little responsibility about earning money (you know making money on your own is a huge task!);
They are guaranteed to be married: Parents will just find a husband for their little cutie teenage girl (it does not matter if the arranged husband is 70 years of age), as long as those dating balderdashes seen among young people in non-Muslim societies are avoided. Islam is great!
Does Allah really value women? Because Muhammad sure didn't.
So, let’s look on the real value of women in Islam in detail, in the light of authentic Islamic scriptures. Click here
About two weeks ago my girlfriend came home proclaiming: “I hate men in this country!”. This country is Lebanon and she hated men because in only one day her service (taxi) driver shouted at her and a friend: “bidkun taamalu sex” (do you wanna have sex) after he dropped them off, then a group of guys in a car commented on her bum, and some other guy was wanking in dark street corner looking at women passing by.
Having asked a bit around I couldn’t find one women that didn’t have a story of sexual harassment to tell. Narratives ranged from guys in the car driving by mumbling something about vaginae or asses, to service drivers that reach over to ‘curtiously’ close the door properly while ‘unwantingly’ brushing the breast of a female passenger, to the obligatory adjusted rear-view mirror to peek under a women’s skirt, to outright groping in the street and straight forward sexual advances by superiors at work.
James Gruber noted that there are cultural roots to sexual harassment. Practices and settings seem to vary from country to country. While here in Beirut harassment seems to be mostly verbal in nature, in Egypt physical assault seems quite common.
Sexual harassment is widespread and I personally know of stories from Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. A recent study by the Egyptian Center for Women’s Rights found that 83% of all Egyptian women experience sexual harassment, and 98% of foreigners in the country, while 62% of man admitted to harassing.
Sexual harassment is the all present, all ignored elephant that nobody wants to talk about. Mohammed Ali Atassi of al Jadid noted on sexual harassment in Egypt, that it is a: “social problem that politicians and the media have tended to treat as an instance of individual, abnormal behavior. Because they treat it as an isolated aberration from proper social norms – falling outside the path, principles and traditions of a sanctioned way of life – Egyptian society as a whole does not need to confront it.”
This silence is also reflected inthe academy. Literature on sexual harassment is vast and is made up of such diverse fields as anthropology, criminology, managerial studies, gender studies and sociology. However writing on this, our part of the world seems as good as inexistent.
Definitions of sexual harassment themselves are flimsy and cause much confusion. The UN Office of the Special Adviser Gender Issues and Advancement of Women defines sexual harassment as: ” any unwelcome sexual advance, request for sexual favour, verbal or physical conduct or gesture of a sexual nature, or any other behaviour of a sexual nature that might reasonably be expected or be perceived to cause offence or humiliation to another”. Although sexual harassment can be directed by women and within one sex, hardly any man I asked had a story of their harassment to tell. But let’s come back to that later.
The Arabic term al taharush al jinsi (sexual harassment) has only been in use since the mid 90’s. Conceptualizations here also range widely and are influenced by class and levels of education. The Encyclopedia of Women in Islamic Cultures discusses that some women frame sexual harassment in accordance with Islam. In doing so they condemn sexual harassment as illicit behavior outside the sanctioned bonds of marriage.
A particularly disturbing instance of sexual harassment occurred in Egypt in 2006.Mohammed Ali Attasi described: ”During the downtown celebrations of the holiday of Eid al-Fitr, a crowd of hundreds of sexually frenzied young men participated in violent attacks on dozens of women, surrounding them in the streets, groping and even trying to undress them. As police stood by and watched the scene ambivalently, no one, not mothers nor veiled women, were safe from the mob”.
Reasons for this outbreak have been widely discussed by activists and across TV shows.
Some have pointed to the fact that Eid al Fitr, situated at the end of Ramadan, where man and women at least during the day have to abstain from sex, might have to do with that. Others have noted that overall economic pressures delay the age of marriage and thus of ‘legitimate’ sexual relations. Interestingly a statistic on Brian Whitaker’s al-bab suggested that Egyptians interest in sex is increased during Ramadan.
Outsiders have pointed to the suppressed nature of sexuality in an Islamic contexts in general, and the associated sexual frustration. Although there might be some truth to any of the arguments, in that in the West sexual harassment is very prevalent also. Particularly at the workplace. In the US for example 40% of all work related lawsuits are about sexual harassment.
Although it is good to look at societal pressures to explain a phenomena, sexual harassment is not new, not only prevalent in the Arab region. It’s seems universal and not completely about sex.
As a man there was always a question that bugged me about sexual harassment. I wonder if guys that call ” Shou, ya ashta!” ( Hey sweet one) or ”Shou hal ties” (what an ass) actually expect to get anywhere in terms of actually having sex with a women. I never heard of a girl that turned around and said: “yalla taffadalu” (be my guest). Actually most women here ignore it. They’ve normally been told by their mothers not to react in order not to provoke physical advances, and have therefore build up a thick skin against it over the years.
So sexual harassment at least in this instance doesn’t actually seem to be about sex. Also the fact that men here, tough I am sure that they have been approached in such a way that would fit the above definition either by older women, the so-called ikht rijal or by other man , would not qualify such behavior as sexual harassment easily.
Actually very recently a friend of mine, playfully touched my balls in the pool during a pool party. I told him that I am not into it, but wasn’t really appalled. If the same thing would happen to a women I probably would be. After contemplating on reasons for that, i realized it was related to our power relationship. Firtsly I felt superior in physical strength to him and could have waned him off by force. But also in terms of social status, he as an homosexual man is more vulnerable in the Middle Eastern context. I am sure I would have felt different if I would have been powerless or in the weaker position. It was our power relationship that didn’t make me qualify it as sexual harassment. The very same friend, however is himself being sexually harassed all the time, due to his effeminate looks, and the fact that as a homosexual he ranks lower on societies packing order.
Also the other above scenarios seem to point in long slumberian manner into the direction of power, which is backed up by much of the literature. Much of feminist analyses proclaims that sexual harassment is not really about sex at all, or at least not about sexual branks, misunderstandings, or miscues, but about power. Namely, the power of men within a male-dominated social and economic institutions to violate and victimize women.
Such scholars using widely differentiating methods, from a myryiad of disciplines seem to agree on three basic prepositions in relation to sexual harassment 1.) men sexually harass women because they are culturally privileged 2.) social mores and practices sanction their right to do so and 3.) organization i.e.society does not adequately protect victims or appropriately punish perpetrators. Although this vantage point has been criticised by another feminist camp that proclaims that such analyses: “betrays feminism to be largely populated by a group of victim-obsessed, animale sexual puritans who see a sexual predator in every man and who would thus excise heterosexuality from contemporary life” the three points seem to hold in an Arab context and allow us to explain the great prevalence of sexual harassment.
One, man in Arab society are still privileged, there is no two ways about it, despite Kandyiotis patriachal bargain. Two, cultural practices do sanction that behavior. Nihad Abu Al Qumsan, an Egyptian women’s right activist notes that: “Many perpetrators believe that they are acting according to an ‘old Eastern custom’”.The Muslim women discussed in the Encyclopedia of Women in Islamic Societies article were described to tend to see physical harassment as a problem while excessive staring and verbal behavior were interpreted as ‘natural’ or in ‘order’ with the biological nature of men. Interestingly I have found similar conception among some friends here in Beirut, that didn’t seem to see verbal harassment in the streets as unusual or even classified it as harassment.
Yet further, the public discourse on sexual harassment is normally linked to proper or improper behavior of women. It confirms the societal ambivalent status of women in the public sphere. There seems to be much agreement that sexual harassment doesn’t happen to ‘proper women’ and women themselves are normally blamed for sexual advances. Which is untrue as the above mentioned study found that women of all social strata are affected and that it is not related to dress ie. women that wear the niqab (face cover) are as likely to be harassed as women that wear mini-skirts.
Sadly, despite the fact that all evidence suggest that dress-code is unrelated to the advances, more and more women wear the veil only to protect themselves from such advances as the Encyclopedia of Women in Islamic Cultures proclaims.
The Eid al Fitr instance for example was deliberately exploited by religious conservatives to re-moralize the public sphere. Atassi talks about a poster campaign that followed the instance. He writes: “The second poster continues the theme of objectifying woman, likening her to a piece of candy ready to be eaten, by portraying her as a lollipop that cannot be protected from flies (which means men in the language of these campaigns), save with the wrapper, which translates to the veil. Under the images of two lollipops, one wrapped and the second naked with flies hovering over it, a religious statement professes that an unveiled woman will not be able to protect herself – for God, the creator, knows what is in her best interest, and thus ordered the veil.”
And finally three, there are no legal or societal penalties on that kind of behavior. As mentioned women are discouraged to answer back to the harassment. The 2005 Arab Human Development Report proclaimed that despite most Arab penal codes guaranteeing the safety of women at the work place no code contains a concrete definition of the crime of sexual harassment. Yet societal values are not only reflected in codes but the practice of the executive. Zahra Hankir recounts in her article ‘The Reality of Harassment’ the story of Rima: ” a 26-year-old woman, … that when she went to the police station to report that she had been assaulted by a male colleague, the police officers on duty laughed at her and made lewd remarks. That experience sheds some light on why so many women who have been exposed to sexual harassment are often too scared to come forward, fearing that the incident will be interpreted as their fault.”
Following these insights, when a group of young man proclaim “yislam kissik” (praise your vagina) to a women in the street and especially if the women doesn’t reply, they re-enact the social order, re-claim the public space as an intrinsically male domain in which women are only tolerated on the whims of men. The same is true for advances at the workplace, a formerly exclusively male-dominated space. What further emphasizes this interpretation is the fact that women are hardly ever molested if accompanied by man. A free roaming women, uncontrolled by fathers, brothers or husbands, has to be put into her place as Gedah pointed out in relationship to sexual harassment.
The fact that sexual harassment is particularly prevalent in the Arab World is not to do with our ‘unhealthy’ relationship to sexuality. It is rather to do with the system of patriarchy and the above discussed consequences. Surely this in itself is related to our relationship to sexuality.
A leading Palestinian “resistance” figure has confirmed what many suspected all along: Yasser Arafat died of AIDS.
In an interview with Hizballah's Al-Manar TV earlier this month, Ahmad Jibril, founder and leader of the Damascus-based Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, revealed a shocking conversation he recently had with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and his staff.
Said Jibril: “When [Abbas] came to Damascus with his team, I asked them: 'What happened to the investigation into the death of [Arafat]? Is it conceivable that when [former Lebanese prime minister] Rafiq Hariri was killed, all hell broke loose, but the death of Yasser Arafat, is not investigate?”
Jibril, like many Palestinians, readily accepted the notion that Israel had assassinated Arafat, and wanted the Palestinian Authority to conduct an official investigation concluding as much. The response from Abbas' aides changed in an instant Jibril's view of his deceased mentor.
“They were silent, and then one of them said to me: 'To be honest, the French gave us the medical report, that stated that the cause of [Arafat's] death was AIDS.'”
Arafat eventually died in a Paris hospital after being airlifted out of Ramallah. Many speculated that the Palestinian leader, who was said to have had numerous homosexual relationships, had in fact contracted AIDS.
A clearly angered Jibril said that Abbas and every other member of Arafat's Fatah faction “should be happy that we got rid of the plague, which had been imposed upon them and upon the Palestinian people. The Fatah movement now has an opportunity to renew itself.”
Dhivehi Holy Warriors of Allah were involved in the Mumbai attacks. They have been found on the battlefield of Afghanistan and Kashmir. They have blown up bomb in Male'.The list is growing. Take a good look at the pictures here of convicted Dhivehi Holy Bombers of Allah. Do you know any who may take part in the in Al-Qaeda 'spectacular attacks' being planned on UK?
"London In an astounding revelation, Al-Qaeda extremists have claimed that home-grown terrorists are plotting to attack targets in Britain.
"According to reports, in an internet magazine read by thousands of Islamic extremists Al-Qaeda has labeled Britain and Europe as a bigger enemy than the United States.
It further says that the strikes are being planned by terrorists living in Britain and others overseas, and warns of “spectacular attacks”, 'The Sun' reports.
The site is promoted by supporters of deported hate preacher Abdullah al-Faisal who was booted out of Britain after serving a jail sentence for being found guilty of three charges of soliciting the murder of Jews, Americans, and Hindus, and two charges of using threatening words to stir up racial hatred." The Qur'an didn't have enough room for universal love and brotherhood, but there is plenty of text devoted to Allah's personal desire for Muhammad to have sex with whomever he wants.
Zaynab and the Beast: Zaynab’s Divine Marriage to Muhammad & Zayd's Life-shattering Loss
How Allah's sanction to Muhammad's marriage to his daughter-in-law Zaynab relegated marriage simply into an institution of satiating sexual desire; how it was for Zayd, Zaynab's former husband and the prime loser in this divine drama, a life-shattering experience; and how Muhammad paved shattered Zayd's demise from the world soon afterward????
"Your marriages were arranged for you by your fathers, but my marriage was arranged for me by Allah from above the seven heavens" -- Zaynab to Muhammad’s other wives
The above assertion was Zaynab’s claim to fame, which no other woman had been able to match. Indeed, no other woman was privileged to have her marriage and family life planned for her by Allah, and carefully documented in the preserved tablet and the Quran. Zaynab’s ‘divine’ marriage was not a private matter because its implications still affect the life of Muslims. As a corollary to satisfying Muhammad’s sexual desires, Allah had to ban the highly moral practice of adoption, and introduce, instead, a morally corrupt legislation that allows women to breast feed adult men. Another upshot of this saga is that the Muslims today are still perplexed and divided regarding the wisdom of the ‘barrier (~hijab) verse’ that in effect locks women behind the dark shields of Islam. The historical events mentioned in this article are well-documented in the Quran and reputed sira (prophetic biographies); no Muslim can question their authenticity. The analysis, however, is mine and an attempt to read the small prints to understand that famous Islamic love, or rather lust, story.
Zaynab Bintu Jahsh was related to Muhammad from her mother’s side. Being twenty-three years younger than Muhammad, he must have had seen her many times as a young girl in Mecca, and noticed her good looks, which explains why he had chosen her as a wife for Zayd, his adopted son.
Zayd Ibn Haritha was an Arab slave, who was given as a gift to Khadija, Muhammad’s first wife. Muhammad inherited Zayd after Khadija’s death and because he liked him so much he adopted him. The tradition of adoption in Arabia, highly respected by the Arabs, ruled that the adopted children enjoy the same rights as the natural children. Zayd demonstrated exemplary obedience and loyalty to his master and served him with extraordinary devotion. In return Muhammad treated Zayd well, indeed, so well that he eventually adopted him.
The marriage of Zaynab and Zayd took place in Medina around the year 629 CE, when Muhammad had turned a renowned political leader in Arabia. Some Muslim traditions claim that Zaynab and her brother objected to the marriage on the ground of the superiority of her class to that of Zayd. Those traditions also claim that Zaynab really wished be married to Muhammad, not to Zayd. While it is understandable that Zaynab may have wished to marry Muhammad, who was the most important figure in Medina, there are doubts about the class issues because Zayd, once adopted, had automatically acquired the social class of his adopting father. Besides, Zayd was not an African slave but an Arab, who was captured in war.
The marriage was agreed and the couple lived in a house of their own in Medina. One day, while Zayd was away, Muhammad paid an unexpected visit to the couple’s quarter. While waiting at the door, a gentle wind blew a lightly woven curtain revealing a nearly naked figure of Zaynab inside the house. Muhammad was struck by the attractive figure of near-naked beautiful Zaynab, and went away saying: “Praise be to Allah, who can change how the heart feels”. The meaning of this ‘prayer’ is that Muhammad’s feeling toward Zaynab is now different from what it was, when he asked her to marry Zayd. In other words, he wasn’t attracted to her before, but now he is. What has changed in Zaynab that made Muhammad feel attracted to her? Obviously, when Muhammad peeped at Zaynab, he did not ‘see’ a change in her personality, but a nearly naked woman with a sexy figure. Zaynab told her husband of what happened, including what Muhammad had uttered as he left.
Accidents involving male and female members of the same family seeing each other in embarrassing positions or situations tend to happen in most households. The persons involved try to ignore the recollection or forget it completely without allowing it to have any negative consequences on their lives. What happened at the door of Zaynab would’ve passed without any far reaching consequences, had the person at the door been a man other than Muhammad.
The culture of strict sexual segregation practiced in the Gulf States, and some other Muslim countries, make some Muslims behave like wild sexual beasts. In Saudi Arabia, for example, the mere sight of a woman’s leg can be sexually-arousing experience to men. Women without total coverings were described by Australian Imam, Taj al-Hilaly, as uncovered meat; in other words, mouth-watering meals to would-be predators. However, it is hard to imagine that a man in his fifties, with many wives and sex-slaves at his disposal, would become a sexual monster at the sight of his daughter-in-law in flimsy dress.
There is nothing unusual for a man to see, accidentally, his daughter-in-law in underwear and Zayd shouldn’t have panicked at all, because it was nobody’s fault. But Zayd knew something the others didn’t know. He spent a lifetime with Muhammad and watched him grow from an insignificant person in Mecca to become a formidable warlord in Arabia, who claimed to have links with Allah. Zayd was not a psychoanalyst, and had no clue about why Allah had chosen his master to become a prophet. Muhammad’s success must have overwhelmed Zayd, who didn’t know how to make the connection between all those odd characters of Muhammad. Probably he thought it was all part of the package of being chosen by Allah. Having served Muhammad for years as a slave and then as a son, Zayd had a fairly good knowledge of Muhammad’s characters. He knew what his master liked and how he thought, and knew of the sex-monster imbedded in his personality. Zayd knew that, once Muhammad had a glimpse of Zaynab’s naked figure and uttered those words, no power on earth could stop him from having sex with her. For Zayd, the situation was a battle impossible for him to fight.
Zayd was so confident of his knowledge of the carnal nature of Muhammad that he had the courage to say to him what would be unthinkable for an ordinary Arab. Zayd panicked and went out looking for Muhammad until he found him, still preoccupied by his sexual fantasies about Zaynab. Zayd openly said to his adopting father, “perhaps you liked Zaynab, in which case I leave her for you”, to which Muhammad responded: “Keep your wife for you”. Of course, Zayd did not mean that Muhammad liked Zaynab as a person but as a sex-object.
What makes a man to panic and offer his wife to his superior, just because he happened to see her in her underwear? It strikes me with wonder about the amount of fear that generates that courage for a down-to-earth man like Zayd to say something that would so improper, immoral and offending to any man—never mind a prophet of Allah and the chief of Medina! Muhammad’s response springs more surprises. One would expect him to be outraged by the morally offensive offer, but he responded as if he had been offered something to eat: ‘You may keep her! (…and of course, if you persist, I will take it…)’
It is not that Zayd had simply guessed that Muhammad possibly liked Zaynab’s figure, he was dead-sure that he had been infatuated by her beautiful figure; otherwise he wouldn’t have dared ask Muhammad to take his daughter-in-law the way he did.
Similarly Zayd was firmly sure of how much lust Muhammad had developed toward Zaynab; otherwise, he wouldn’t dare suggesting divorce her, paving the way for Muhammad to have sex with her.
Likewise, Zayd was aware that Muhammad was capable of destroying any person, who would dare stand in his way to have what he desired; otherwise, he would never have announce his willingness to hand over his own wife, whom he was supposed to protect.
Zayd was dead-sure that Muhammad would eventually get his way; otherwise, he wouldn’t dare to suggest doing something would put the respected law of adoption in disrepute, which Muhammad, until then, recognized.
From that moment, Zayd knew that Muhammad would do whatever needed to have sex with Zaynab, even if that it be cancelling well-developed Arab law and tradition.
Having lived so closely for over three decades, Zayd had developed his own psychoanalysis of Muhammad’s personality. Muhammad’s generosity and kindness were always for a purpose; in Zayd’s case, they were because of his extraordinary commitment and total obedience to Muhammad. Zayd knew that he shouldn’t read too much into the fact that, he was Muhammad’s adopted son, because even that bondage wouldn’t tame the sex-monster Muhammad was.
Muhammad’s sexual desires towards Zaynab were not the product of the heat of the moment; weeks later, he was still in his world of fantasy about her. He became thoroughly convinced that Zaynab was too endowed to be given to Zayd. As with all other difficult problems Muhammad had faced, he had to use Allah to get his way.
One afternoon, while relaxing in Aysha’s house, closing his eyes and, undoubtedly, thinking of that beautiful figure of Zaynab, he came up with an ingenious solution. He suddenly opened his eyes with a big smile on his face, and said: “who can go to Zaynab and give her the good news? Allah ordered me to marry her”.
[Q.33:37] Behold! Thou didst say to one (i.e. Zaid), who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that there may be no difficulty to the Believers in marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled.
"Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them" -- Koran 4:34
"If a husband calls his wife to his bed [i.e. to have sexual relation] and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning." -- Muhammad (Bukhari 4.54.460)
"By him in Whose Hand lies my life, a woman can not carry out the right of her Lord, till she carries out the right of her husband. And if he asks her to surrender herself [to him for sexual intercourse] she should not refuse him even if she is on a camel's saddle." -- Muhammad (Ibn Majah 1854)
If family life is the basis for how a society functions, it is no surprise that, with family values like these Muslim societies are suffused with tyranny and corruption.
"Afghanistan has enacted a new legislation empowering men of Shia sect of Islam to deny their wives food and sustenance if they refuse to obey their husbands' sexual demands, a media report said on Saturday.
The new final draft of the legislation also grants guardianship of children exclusively to their fathers and grandfathers, and requires women to get permission from their husbands to work, The Guardian reported.
"It also effectively allows a rapist to avoid prosecution by paying 'blood money' to a girl who was injured when he raped her," the report said quoting US charity Human Rights Watch."
Was your ancestor hunted, captured and sold in a market in Jedda or Mecca by Muslim Arabs?
The truth is that Muslims have been slaughtering and enslaving black Africans for more than a millennium. The truth is that black African Muslims have the lowest status of any group in Islam, and are held in special contempt by Arabs.
“Group of Slaves with Arab men”
Zanzibar, 1850-1890 Is there an ancestor of yours in this picture?
THE Muslim preacher who recruited two suicide bombers for the July 17 Jakarta terror attacks groomed at least four other teenage boys in the small housing complex where he was a respected leader.
An uncle of one of the teenagers said Syaefuddin Jaelani, 32, believed to be the main recruiter for fugitive terrorist Noordin Mohammad Top's deadly Indonesian network, had taken his nephew on a week-long camping and fishing trip to see if he was prepared to wage violent jihad.
The man, who refused to be identified yesterday, confirmed that his nephew was among a group of five teenagers -- including eventual JW Marriott hotel bomber Dani Dwi Permana -- taken on the retreat near the hill city of Bandung, southeast of Jakarta, early this year.
The trip was focused on religious instruction and the importance of becoming a martyr, he said, although other sources have indicated it also included fishing at the Situ Lembang camping ground, an area popular with Indonesian tourists.
In the days after the July attacks -- but before Permana's identity was revealed -- elite Detachment 88 anti-terror police interrogated the four boys in the town of Kahuripan, near Bogor City, south of the capital.
They released the teenagers before last weekend's public revelation that Permana, who was 18 and had just graduated from high school, was one of the bombers.
The other was 28-year-old Nana Ikhwan Maulana, from the town of Pandeglang in Banten province, where a number of Top's known violent associates in the Ring Banten terror group originate. It is also near the home town of executed Bali bomber Imam Samudra.
Jaelani's preparation of the two bombers for their task included jogging with them outside the JWMarriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels, where nine people, including three Australians, died in the attacks.
The uncle said yesterday he had questioned his nephew about the purpose of the religious retreat to Bandung. "I asked him, was the indoctrination (the boys received) meant to point them to becoming a bridegroom to commit jihad," he said.
Jaelani had indicated to his nephew that he would be required to undertake his task "soon".
"But my nephew was hesitant, and of the five teenage boys, Dani (Permana) was the one who looked to be the most certain," the man said.
Officials at the As-Surur mosque where Jaelani was a respected and well-liked preacher, known for his excellent command of Koranic verses, said they had taken steps to determine no other youths had been indoctrinated.
There is growing suspicion that a man originally thought to have been Top who was killed in a Central Java raid at the weekend was in fact a florist named Ibrohim, who worked at the Ritz-Carlton and Marriott hotels and was the bombers' inside contact.
Ibrohim, who disappeared immediately after the bombings, is also likely to have been recruited by Jaelani. Remembered as being friendly and polite, Jaelani had a wife and young child when he arrived in the small urban community at Kahuripan last year.
Peshawar: Two-hundred boys, who were being trained at a secret location to carry out suicide attacks, were rescued by the security forces in northwest Pakistan, a media report said Monday.
