"Allah's Plan for the Gay Man"

This isn't exactly "Queer eye for the Straight Guy."
"Truth be told, Islamist society is a homophobic world and its getting worse as more countries are taken over by Muslim fundamentalists"

Homophobia in the Islamic World: The Religion of Oppression

"Homosexuality is one of the most disgusting sins and greatest crimes.... It is a vile perversion that goes against sound nature, and is one of the most corrupting and hideous sins.... The punishment for homosexuality is death. Both the active and passive participants are to be killed whether or not they have previously had sexual intercourse in the context of a legal marriage.... Some of the companions of the Prophet stated that [the perpetrator] is to be burned with fire. It has also been said that he should be stoned, or thrown from a high place." Saudi Textbook Jurisprudence (Fiqh)

When Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke at Columbia University two years ago, declared that there were no Homosexuals in Iran. Many people (including me) thought it a joke. The real reason the Iranian mass-murderer said that there were no Homosexuals in Iran is that being gay in Iran is a capital offense punishable by death.

But its not just Iran and Saudi Arabia, Homosexuality is a crime in most of the fundamental Islamic world
According to a pamphlet produced by Al-Fatiha, there is a consensus among Islamic scholars that all humans are naturally heterosexual. Homosexuality is seen by scholars to be a sinful and perverted deviation from the norm.

All Islamic schools of thought and jurisprudence consider gay acts to be unlawful. The Companions of Prophet Muhammad held various views concerning punishment. The fatwa cited by IslamOnline.net states:

"....this led to different views maintained by Muslim Jurists. For example:

  • In the Hanafi school of thought, the homosexual is punished through harsh beating, and if he/she repeats the act, death penalty is to be applied.
  • As for the Shafi`i school of thought, the homosexual receives the same punishment of adultery (if he/she is married) or fornication (if not married). This means, that if the homosexual is married, he/she is stoned to death, while if single, he/she is whipped 100 times.

Truth be told, Islamist society is a homophobic world and its getting worse as more countries are taken over by Muslim fundamentalists:

Wave of Homophobia Sweeps the Muslim World By Juliane von Mittelstaedt and Daniel Steinvorth
In most Islamic countries, gay men and women are ostracized, persecuted and in some cases even murdered. Repressive regimes are often fanning the flames of hatred in a bid to outdo Islamists when it comes to spreading "moral panic."

  1. you know nothing of islam so do not talk about it like you do. Your culture and religion opresses you from the rest of the world thus being the result in you have no idea or energy to care to learn about what islam is. God

  2. God be with us all in this time of corruption and hatefulness. Dont blame cultures and actions of some on the religion of Islam itself. Take the time to read and learn and you will learn about its message of peace. We condone people who murder people who due those suicides in the name of god. They are NOT muslims if they do that we CONDONE THEM. 9/11 was horrible we condone that. Stop thinking that about islam. Some muslims dont follow it right and claim all these things about the religion. But the best way to realize what kind of religion it is is from the Quran Kareem. They are Allah's words. Just stop making these stupid comments about islam. Cuz Islam itself promotes peace. Learn to expand your knowledge and open your mind.

  3. and stop saying our religion stops us from thinking independently. God gave us free will to do as we please. HE DOES NOT NEED US TO FOLLOW ISLAM OR NEEDS US TO BE GOOD. WE NEED HIM HE DOESNT NEED US. Allah encourages tot ake knowledge of other cultures and religion but its a simple fact that islam makes the most sense. If you dont agree its your opinion but that is what I believe and every other true muslim believes. Stop making bashes at our religion grow up and why dont you spend some time worrying about yourself and your religion and leave us to our own religion.

    con·done/kənˈdōn/Verb
    1. Accept and allow (behavior that is considered morally wrong or offensive) to continue.

Summers post above uses condone to describe Islams attitude towards terrorists, because of the definition for condone he was making a case that Islam accepts those acts instead of rejecting them. However reading his post I believe that this is not what he intended because it is negatively relevant to his claim that Islam is about peace. I believe he meant to use Condemn which is an antonym for condone with a similar spelling. I am not a follower of Islam and cannot support nor deny his argument. I simply wanted to point out this one glaring flaw that I felt needed correction.
