her former husband.

Islamic law is based on prevention of crimes by implimenting law... Eg death penalty for a murder... The victim dies and the murderer has a free vacation in jail for the rest of his life, he will be fed and will receive medicals... While the victims family faces the consequence of the death...if everyone can have a vacation in jail for murder everyone will want to go thus the murder rate increases...
